Information Clause

Pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (General Data Protection Regulation, OJ EU L 119/1 of 4 May 2016), the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM) informs that:

  1. The controller of your personal data is the Polish Institute of International Affairs, with its registered office in Warsaw, ul. Warecka 1a, 00‑950 Warsaw.

  2. The Data Protection Officer at the Polish Institute of International Affairs is responsible for personal data protection and can be contacted at: iodo@pism.pl, tel. +48 22 556 80 50.

  3. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of conducting promotional and marketing activities (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), including through electronic communication tools, i.e., the e‑mail address you provided in the form.

  4. The recipients of your personal data will be entities cooperating with the PISM Public Information Office in the organization of events.

  5. Your personal data will be processed until you withdraw your consent or effectively object to the processing.

  6. You have the right to access your personal data and the right to rectify, delete, withdraw consent, restrict processing, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Office.

  7. Providing your personal data is voluntary but necessary for the purpose of processing—sending the newsletter.
