Information Clause
Pursuant to Article 13(1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”), the Polish Institute of International Affairs informs that:
The controller of your personal data is the Polish Institute of International Affairs (Polski Instytut Spraw Międzynarodowych), with its registered office in Warsaw, ul. Warecka 1a, 00-950 Warsaw (“PISM”).

Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
a) sending you information and updates regarding the Strategic Ark 2026 conference, including information about the agenda, speakers, and registration details – on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR);
b) sending you information by e-mail about other events, publications, and activities organized by PISM – provided that you have given a separate consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Providing your personal data is voluntary but necessary to receive the above communications.
The recipients of your personal data may include entities cooperating with PISM in the organization of events, IT service providers, and other entities processing personal data on behalf of the controller under data processing agreements, as well as entities authorized to receive data under applicable law.
Your personal data will be processed until you withdraw your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to its withdrawal.
You have the right to access your personal data, request rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing, as well as the right to data portability.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.
